Definitely stick to brewing it, then icing if you're hoping to match what is served in restaurants. The packaging kind of stinks: This product literally is a cardboard shipping box filled with plastic baggies of the tea, so you will need a storage solution unless you don't mind having a shipping box in your kitchen. China Mist is so good, and I'm glad to know that we can find cases of it on Amazon for reasonable prices. We tried several times to make sun tea with this loose tea, but even after up to eight hours in the sun, the tea was very weak.
Doesn't taste quite as good as it does when followed with crab-wontons. This is a wonderful tea that I originally had at that fancy "chinese" style bar with the great food. The tea is well worth it and can easily be made in an iced-tea maker; however, the ambiance is missing in my house.
I will definitely buy it again. I just got my first box, and the tea is delicious. Just like the one at the Cheesecake Factory.
It is the BEST. Each bag, put through your coffee maker, makes a full pot and diluted to ¾ gallon of refreshing mildly flavored and gently naturally sweetened. If this is not the exact tea that is used in "The Cheesecake Factory" and the salad chain "Tossed", then it is identical in taste. I searched for this for years.
This is THE BEST tea I've ever had and I'm soooo glad they sell it here. I drank this tea in a restaurant and liked it so much I was able to buy one bag for $2 dollars. I really love this. If you're looking for a supremely flavored tea perhaps to add to another beverage, or just to drink by itself, you will definitely be happy with China Mist brand. I saved the wrapper as it has "China Mist Passion Fruit." One bag is definitely good for two gallons. I made half a bag in my coffee maker, and that filled a gallon jug (watch so it doesn't over pour).
